RTVI is a real-time video streaming software solution that efficiently delivers high-quality live video to and from vehicles and the command center and between vehicles or handheld devices in the field.

Fixed video surveillance and in-vehicle DVR systems create high quality, high bitrate video that is ideal for evidentiary use, but not ideal for transmission over a wireless network.
RTVI automatically adapts the bitrate for wireless transmission without affecting the high quality video that is recorded.  This is accomplished by measuring throughput and adjusting video parameters to match available bandwidth.
