Operating System Security Patching Service

The Operating System Security Patching Service will provide Motorola approved third party Operating System (OS) patches to protect the Dimetra Radio Network against a Microsoft Windows Operating System vulnerability based attack. By providing OS patch updates that have already been tested and approved for use on the Dimetra IP system, compatibility with Dimetra is ensured. These security updates will also provide the latest defense against malicious software (Malware) attacks.

By providing OS patch updates that have already been tested and approved for use on the Dimetra IP system, compatibility with Dimetra is ensured. Technical support is provided should there be any issue with the deployment of these patches.

Any operating system updates that are released by Microsoft will be reviewed for their relevance to the Dimetra environment. They will then go through a testing process which will ensure that the Motorola certified Operating System updates have no negative effect on the operation or performance of the Radio Network Infrastructure (RNI).
